The Art of the Shampoo

How often should you wash your hair? The famous question…
Well let me tell you. When it is dirty. Thats the simple old fashioned answer.
That may be once a week, twice a week, every other day and for VERY FEW everyday!
Today a shampoo however is so much more than just a simple cleanser, you can have one to add body, exfoliate, nourish or correct a special problem.
Today’s shampoo’s are not just about being the “sadie” for your locks, they are more about being beauty treatments for your hair.

Lusterless hair is an on going battle with our locks and we all LOVE LUSTER now days we have shampoo’s that are designed to do just that. Brilliant! There is a new favorite amongst this bunch and for me it is KEVIN.MURPHY’s HYDRATE-ME.WASH and HYDRATE-ME.RINSE! [see below]
For the actual shampoo routine below is a step-by-step guide to help your locks be as lush as possible!
1. Pre shampoo brushing to remove loose dust, tangles and tone up your circulation.
2. Wet hair-luke warm water is best for all shampoo’s
3. Exfoliate the follicle with your 1st shampoo [MAXI.WASH]
4. Cleanse the hair with 2nd shampoo [HYDRATE-ME.WASH]
5. Moisturize the hair with your rinse. [HYDRATE-ME.RINSE]
Now you are ready for the finale….. bring hair back from face and wrap it, TURBAN-style [HOT!] remove excess moisture and get STYLING!!
6. Apply your desired KM STYLING AID!
7. flick flick flick those lush locks about town!
